Description:
The winner of this auction will receive a special autographed, authentic adidas Kansas Basketball jersey that was made exclusively for Grammy Award-winning music superstar Taylor Swift. This special home-white jersey features the familiar Kansas lettering across the front along with the number 1. The back features the name Swift across the top, the number 1 and her signature. This jersey is the second of only two jerseys produced with the Swift name; the first jersey was a gift to her from Kansas Athletics.

Taylor has made an exception to sign this special jersey because of her relationship with her best friend and current Jayhawk student-athlete Abigail Anderson. All proceeds from this auction will directly benefit the swimming and diving program, of which Abigail is currently a member. Taylor has made visits to KU to visit her best friend Abigail when she takes a break from touring across the country and the world. She will be coming to Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium on September 24, 2011 as part of the Speak Now Tour and tickets to that event go on sale to the public on February 11, 2011.
