In addition to the experience of working an NCAA Division I basketball game, Ball Kids will receive an official UMES Ball Kid t-shirt! NOTE: Ball Kids must be at least ten (10) years of age and NOT currently enrolled in high school (9th-12th grades).

There will be other Ball Kids, student managers and staff members present for this experience. Ball Kids will be taken to the court one (1) hour prior to the tip off of each game. This will also be the child’s ticket into the game. HOWEVER, the guardian of that child will be responsible for their own ticket. If you win an auction and the guardian does not purchase a ticket to the game, the child will not be able to complete the duties of being a Ball Kid. However, your credit card will still be charged for the winning bid due to lost revenue opportunities.

UMES Athletics staff will contact the auction winners by email after the auction is closed for more details about the event date.

At the sole discretion of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Athletic Department, if at any time during the Experience the winning bidder is not acting in a professional and courteous manner, UMES Athletics may end the Experience and no refund or additional services will be offered to the winning bidder whether or not the entire experience was completed.
